While Google Shopping has always had rich images, Google just announced that Google Shopping ads will be appearing on Image search results as well.
Looking at the above screenshot of a search for “Nike Shoes” on Google Images, you will see these rich PLA ads that you normally see on regular Google Search.
Interestingly the titles, ratings, and sales are omitted on the image results page. Users also have the option of filtering using the tags above the PLAs, like “running” or “blue” which will narrow the results further.
