What do I need to set up my account for Fruugo?
To sell on Fruugo, you will first need to fill out a registration form and submit information about your business. The registration form will require the following information:
- Your name and contact info
- Your business name, site URL, registered country of business and whether you are VAT-registered
- Fulfillment info, like whether you support international shipping, tracking shipments, and which country you ship from
- SKU count, and whether you have GTINs
- Who your integration partner is, if applicable
Once you have submitted your registration form, Fruugo will contact you to continue the seller account creation process.
You will need to provide the following information to set up your account before you can list products:
- Primary contact details
- Trading/Billing address
- Registered office address
- Returns address
- Account contact details
- Customer service details
- Sales tax details
- Bank account details
- Final confirmation of shipping countries
- Acceptance of terms and conditions
What are the commission rates and selling fees for Fruugo?
Fruugo charges a 15% commission on the total order value. The total order value includes the price of the items plus shipping costs, but does not include VAT. For all transactions, Fruugo also charges a Funds Processing Fee of 2.35% on the transaction value of the order, which includes the sale price of items, shipping, and VAT.

What are the image requirements for Fruugo?
Fruugo accepts three file types for product images: JPEG, GIF, and PNG.
Fruugo requires images with a white background and no watermarks or graphics that do not relate to the product. Images must be a minimum of 400 x 400 pixels, but larger images are always recommended for great detail. It’s best not to exceed an image file size of 3MB, as sellers may start to see issues with Fruugo’s resizing.
Do I need approval to list products in certain categories on Fruugo?
Once sellers fill out their registration form and are approved to become sellers, no additional approval is needed for future product categories.
Are UPCs or GTINs required to sell on Fruugo?
Yes, GTINs (or EAN/UPC/ISBN) are required to list products on Fruugo Marketplace.
