Houzz categories can get quite hectic with one thousand or so categories for product feeds.
Houzz categories are specific and will only accept a valid predefined Houzz taxonomy numerical value from the Houzz product taxonomy list. Amazon categories can potentially be used for Houzz categories as well. If an appropriate category cannot be found, then use the appropriate parent category.
If you’ve ever found yourself asking how do I map my products to Houzz categories, we can actually do all the heavy lifting! We have a function that can easily map your categories from Google Shopping to every other engine, including Houzz.
Now that you’ve got the Houzz category taxonomy down, you can start on actually creating your Houzz Feed!
