Because the new Buy on Google (formerly Google Shopping Actions) is a marketplace, it brings a few new API routes that Google Shopping did not formerly have.
In terms of sending products to Google, there is an API option as well as the typical normal S/FTP option, but you should definitely make sure you optimize your product data first.
For pulling orders from Google, there is a new orders API that allows you to:
- Receive and acknowledge new orders
- Send Google updates on tracking numbers
- Handle cancellations and refunds
If the above Buy on Google API integration scares you, Feedonomics already has these APIs allowing you to not only list products on Buy on Google, but also to automate order fulfillment.
