How to create a Fyndiq product feed
You can create an account with Fyndiq by visiting their website here:
Required Fyndiq feed fields
| Field Name | Description |
|---|---|
| Product ID | Unique ID code for the product. |
| Product title | Full title or name of the product. |
| Product description | Full description of the product. Max 4096 characters. |
| Product market | Which country the product is selling in (enter SE for Sweden). |
| Product currency | Enter SEK for Swedish Krona. |
| Product price | Full price of the product, including decimal point but no currency symbols. |
| Product old price | Original price of the product, including decimal point but no currency symbols. |
| Product VAT percent | Percentage of VAT charged on the product (either 6, 12 or 25). |
| Product image URL | Link to the product image on the website. |
| Product image identifier | Identifier for the image (e.g. ac33443422ee). |
| SKU | Stock keeping unit. |
| Quantity | How many of the product in stock. |
| Product size | Small, medium, large, etc. |
| EAN | European article number. Required only for branded products. |
Optional Fyndiq feed fields
| Field Name | Description |
|---|---|
| Product category ID | Category ID or code for the product. |
| Product category name | What category the product belongs to. Can include sub-categories, e.g. Sports>Ice Hockey>Helmets. |
| Product category Fyndiq ID | Category code from the Fyndiq category list. |
| Product brand name | Brand or manufacturer of the product. |
| Product portion | If product sold according to a specific unit (e.g. ml, kg), the numerical value of this portion. |
| Product unit | e.g. kg, ml, etc. |
| Additional product image URL | Link to additional images of the product. |
| Additional image identifiers | Identifiers for additional images. |
| Product location | Physical location of product in store (e.g. shelf 43A). |
| ISBN | International standard book number. |
| MPN | Manufacturer part/product number. |
| EU energy class | e.g. A++, A+++, etc. |
| EU energy label | URL, JPG, PNG, etc. of the EU energy label. |
| Additional option fields | These can be added using ‘article property name’ and ‘article property value’ tags. |
What formats does Fyndiq accept
The feed must be a CSV feed that adheres to Fyndiq’s requirements. The encoding must be UTF-8.
How to send your product feed to Fyndiq
It is strongly recommended to provide the feed on an SSL-enabled URL (starting with ‘https://’). Fyndiq’s product reader will fetch the product feed on a regular interval.
