Gary Kerr joins Feedonomics as Director of Business Development. With nearly 12 years in ad tech – particularly in feed-driven marketing platforms – Gary brings an extraordinary volume of knowledge, expertise, and enthusiasm to the team. Prior to Feedonomics, Gary worked at Productsup, Google SearchAds360 (DoubleClick), Google Shopping, and Channel Intelligence.
Gary earned a BS in Business Management & Operations from Central Michigan University, followed by graduate studies at WMU Cooley Law School.
His expertise in product data feeds started in 2006 with Channel Intelligence, a tech company later acquired by Google in 2013.
“In those days, data feeds were really just for ‘trucking’ product data from a retailer’s back-end database over to a handful of shopping channels,” said Kerr. Adding, “But while ad technology is vastly improved, today’s savviest retailers must now manage far more sophisticated feed-driven marketing strategies in order to compete. More sophisticated, and much more complex.”
“We are thrilled to welcome Gary to our team and look forward to helping our clients achieve better performance with Gary’s extensive knowledge and insights,” said Brian Roizen, Cofounder and Chief Architect of Feedonomics.
“Gary brings a wealth of experience to Feedonomics and we are proud that he has recognized us as being the leader in Feed Technology and providing the best full-service experience in the industry,” added Shawn Lipman, Chief Executive Officer and Cofounder of Feedonomics.
