How to create a Bazaarvoice Feed

The Bazaarvoice XML feed specs aren’t the easiest to work with, as the specification document is 23 pages long! Here are the Bazaarvoice product feed fields in base form:

Bazaarvoice Feed Complications

The biggest complication when dealing with Bazaarvoice feeds is the non-standard XML format. Brands and categories are not included with each product node, and are separated out in the beginning, as shown above.

The effort required to generate a Bazaarvoice feed is complicated if you are dealing with multiple languages, as it often requires even more custom coding.

The Bazaarvoice feed parser is also incredibly strict, and you often have to check it with numerous uploads to an XML validator before being clear of errors.
