Client Overview

Ambush Skateboarding is a global leader in skateboarding retail. The company was founded in 1997 and specializes in skateboards, footwear, and apparel.

The Challenge

On the Friday before Memorial Day, the legacy feed system Ambush was using did a bad code update, which resulted in a month-long Amazon suspension during Ambush’s peak season. They provided little to no helpful support to diagnose and fix the issue.

Ambush also had challenges listing their full product catalog on Amazon and eBay. 

Another challenge was that Ambush wanted to have an Omnichannel presence while also maintaining low inventory levels of many unique products, which could easily lead to oversold issues.
