The biggest shopping event for Amazon Prime members is about to take place in less than 3 weeks.

Prime Day Details

Amazon Prime Day 2019 starts at midnight on July 15 and will last for 48 hours. Shoppers need to be an Amazon Prime member to access these deals. In 2018, more than 100 million products were sold during the Prime Day event and this year’s Prime Day will be even bigger with more than 1 million products on sale globally.

Sales forecasts reveal that Prime Day 2019 will reach $5 billion in sales, possibly closer to $6 billion since the sale period is longer this year; 48-hour time frame, up from 2018’s where the promotion only lasted 36 hours.

How Retailers Can Gear Up
